They had a girl!!!!

Allison and Marshall had a beautiful baby girl. She was born at 6:17 pm Dec 4, 2006. She weighed 8 lbs 3 oz. She is so beautiful. Technically Allison was in labor for a long time. However, she didn't feel tooo much because of a nice thing called an epidural. I just wanted to update everyone so they weren't left hanging from yesterday.

At the hospital...with a friend

I am at the hospital with one of my best friends Allison. They have induced her and now she is just waiting for her little one to arrive. I can't wait. They (Allison and Marshall) did not find out the sex of the baby so we are all excited to finally know. Only a few more hours.

Watching her prepare yesterday let me know that there are a lot of things that we (Zach and I) have to plan for. I am really hoping to be able to go into labor naturally so I will not have any idea of when it will happen. I will have to have everything ready at the end of April I guess.

I am so excited for Allison and Marshall. They went through a lot of what Zach and I went through so I am know they are ready for this.

It's A Girl.....We Think

So we did an unofficial ultrasound last week and we are almost 100% sure that our baby is a girl. Her name will be Carly Renee Lentz. We are very excited. We have tons of pink stuff now. We just have to wait until Dec 19 to confirm our beliefs. If it's not a girl I hope everyone is not disappointed. I promise I will post pictures soon.

15 weeks and counting

I am now a little over 15 weeks preggers. Morning sickness still kicks my butt almost every morning. Unfortunatly, that may mean that I will have morning sickness throughout this pregnancy. NO FUN!!! But when I think of the end result it is so totally worth it. So I really need to post some pictures I know. I need to get my friend Allison to take some pictures of what my belly looks like now and start recording it for all to see. Some days I feel huge, although I am still down several pounds from my initial weight. My feet are also growing. I mean all my shoes are so uncomfortable.

We went to the doctor this past Wed. I finally got to see my original doctor from Seneca,
Dr. Parker who has joined the practice with Dr. Jennings and Dr. Bledsoe. He was so happy to see me and see me pregnant. He said that everything is looking good and that the baby's heart is good and strong. He did suggest that I do a level 2 ultrasound because one of my brother's has a mild case of Spina Bifida. So we schedules that for Dec 19. The next Dr's appt is Dec 13. We may go and have a 3d/4d ultrasound on Dec 9. I have to check it out this weekend and see if we are going to do it or not. I would love to. Then we would get to find out if it was a boy or a girl.

Well I better go for now. I will try to start posting more regularly.

First Doctor's Appt.

We had our first doctor's appointment this past Wed. It went really well. We were 7 weeks, 2 days preg. The doctor said that everything looked good. I am so glad. We got to see another ultrasound and even saw the tiny little heart beat. It was very exciting. I can't wait till my next appointment when they let me hear it. The due date is currently May 13 which is Zach's birthday. We are very excited. I can't wait for the next appointment, but it is almost a month away. Ahhh!!!

Feeling Sickly

So I am feeling so sick. I get up I eat crackers and drink ginger ale and gag all day long. Ugh. I am so ready to get past the 12 weeks and just hope, hope, hope that it goes away. Sleeping is also no fun. I toss and turn. I don't feel like I can breath on my back but when I turn on my side I hurt two certain upper extremities that seem to be growing alarmingly fast.

I had a dream the other night that I was pregnant with triplets. That terrified me. I would love twins. However, triplets are just plain scary. How do you breastfeed three babies? I think it was just the pizza I ate. (I hope so anyway.)

My parents are coming up tonight to go to the Clemson game with us. Then we are going shopping for some maternity clothes. I really need some jeans b/c it is starting to get chilly in the morning and evenings. I would rather go ahead and buy maternity pants than buy jeans that won't fit me in a few weeks. I am doing really good with my weight right now. I have actually lost over 5 pounds since I got preggo.

I just thank God for this gift. I have wanted it so bad for so long. I just pray that everything goes well. About 4-5 weeks before we are over the "worry" period. I will be so happy. I love my little miracle. We affectionately call him/her Peanut.

Day 2

I am so excited. I had an ultrasound done today and I saw the baby. It is just a wee little peanut. I also saw the umbilical cord pulsing. It was very cool.

I'm pregnant

I am so excited. I had no idea. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 and 1/2 years. We have been through some infertility treatments. We had to stop when it got to exspensive. I was actually taking the test to rule out that I was pregnant so that I could get my medication to get me back on a proper cycle. Low and behold there was a positive sign. I had to keep looking and finally ask my husband to come look. Then I went and got a blood test done. It was positive. I am sooooooooooooo excited. Please follow my journey. Please, please pray. God has done so much for me. I just can't believe it.
